Newbie: Need tutorial on changing ringtone on Cingular V180

Can anyone point me to a tutorial on how to change ringtone on Cingula
V180 phone? From lurking, I think I need a USB cable and Motorola
Phone Tools, is that correct? Being a newbie to this, would need a
tutorial on how to change the ringtone. I would like to add a morse
code ringtone to the V180.

Also, can anyone tell me how I can tell if the phone is a tri-band or
a quad-band phone? Is there a keystroke code that would give me that
info?

Will Cingular unlock the V180 or do you have to do it through a hack?
